Who are we ?
Nicole du Marchie van Voorthuysen was born in Switzerland in 1960. After studying humanities at the University of Lausanne, she devoted herself to literature, philosophy, to the practice of painting as well as organ music. She is living with Paul at the Liboson since 1982. Their daily dialogue has created an exchange that enables them to deepen together the great themes that have preoccupied the human mind throughout time.
Paul du Marchie van Voorthuysen was born in Holland in 1923. He was introduced to philosophy early in life. Over the course of his extensive travels in the Sahara, he developed an original way of thinking. This philosophical attitude has been shaped by scientific pursuits and through artistic endeavours.
As a multidisciplinary artist, he created the Liboson, a cultural center.
